CONSULTING

Our gas expert has over 40 years of gas utility experience and will employ his knowledge in determining the origin and cause of the explosion. JSI will document every scene with aerial photos from our Company Plane and/ or our Company Drone. We will determine location and collect all evidence.

WILDLAND FIRE CONSULTING

JSI will document the fire origin area, obtain aerial drone or our aircraft photos when possible, determine burn patterns, and gather any evidence pointing to causation such as, burn barrels or pits, smokers, camp fires, weather patterns and times relating to fire start. RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL FIRES

JSI will conduct an inspection of residential and commercial buildings for fire cause and origin following NFPA 921 protocols. Using these protocols, we will identify an origin of the fire, then determine ignition sources, and we will document all possible evidence relating to the fire in order to determine and rule out any other possible ignition sources in the origin area.

AUTO / TRUCK / RV FIRES

JSI will determine with our mechanical - electrical expert the origin area and cause of the fire by conducting a thorough expert examination of evidence into the vehicle. The inspection begins with research; researching vehicle maintenance records and service history, searching for any and all “recalls,” and interviewing the owner of the vehicle. The next crucial step of the investigation includes a complete inspection of the vehicle; a thorough examination of the engine compartment; inspection of fuel lines and the gas compartment; inspection of any and all wiring systems and looking at all passenger and storage compartments for evidence. We will gather and read the EDR information for cause factors.e.

WOOD & PELLET STOVE CONSULTATIONS

JSI has investigated many Wood and Pellet stove fires. Our Fire team will identify the Make, Model, and age of the stove, collect the proper user- manual, look at the installation of the stove, and examination of any service maintenance history. Our fire team experts will identify the specific fuel used, the species and age of the wood or the brand of pellets used in the stove..
